Jess Ciampi joins teaching team
Hello, my name is Jess and I am very excited to commence my role as a teacher at Holy Cross Catholic Primary School!
In my youth, I valued my education in Catholic schools. It was there, that I discovered my love of learning and became inspired to become a teacher. I am grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of the Holy Cross community.
I have four years of teaching experience, and have also accepted numerous leadership roles and responsibilities. I have had the privilege to work with, and learn from, incredible educators and leaders, and I look forward to continuing my professional development and embracing new opportunities at Holy Cross.
I am committed to providing the students of Holy Cross with high-quality teaching, in a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment. I enjoy getting to know my students, and how they learn, so that I am able to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to their interests and abilities. I look forward to building positive and trusting relationships with the families of Holy Cross, and working collaboratively with the teachers, to achieve a wonderful schooling experience for our students!
For me, there are many great things about being a teacher! I enjoy watching students engage in their learning and participate actively in lessons. It brings me joy when students are excited to answer and ask questions, or they are proud to present their work in front of their peers! It is particularly rewarding, when a student achieves something that they initially found to be challenging. I look forward to supporting students to develop their confidence and reach their full potential.
Outside of school, I enjoy attending fitness classes, as well as socialising with family and friends. I absolutely love food, gnocchi being a favourite of mine! I cannot wait to travel to Europe in the future, and eat many bowls of gnocchi in Italy!
