Classroom Teacher Hollie Sanderson joins the team

Hi, my name is Hollie Sanderson and I am excited and feel very privileged to be part of the Holy Cross community as a classroom teacher.

I have 13 years of teaching experience in Catholic Education and in recent years completed my Masters in Educational Leadership and have held a leadership position as Learning Diversity Leader. I have had the privilege of being part of a team that implemented School Wide Positive Behaviour for Learning in recent years. I am extremely passionate about learning and am excited of the new opportunities afforded to me as a founding teacher at Holy Cross Primary School.

It brings me such joy to be of service to the community and the younger generation, empowering them to grow and develop into responsible, respectful and active citizens. I believe providing a positive, inclusive, engaging and safe environment enables students to flourish in their learning.  I am committed to building positive relationships and working collaboratively with students, families and the community. I value an inclusive environment whereby each student is known, valued and supported to being successful in their learning.

I am a mum of two young children. My son, Blake, is 8 years old and my daughter, Lola-Mae, is 4 years old. I am a lover of coffee, food and a good movie or Netflix series. I am currently persuading my children to barrack for the Western Bulldogs, but no such luck as yet. My children and I enjoy riding our bikes, camping and going to the beach. On a Sunday morning, you can find me trying out new cafes, eating brunch with my family.
