PE Teacher Sarah Cardamone joins the team
Hello, my name is Sarah Cardamone and I’m excited to be the Physical Education Teacher at Holy Cross, Mickleham.
I have worked in the Catholic Education system for numerous years, teaching across all levels in the classroom as well as in specialist roles such as STEM and Physical Education.
I’m extremely passionate about providing a positive, safe and challenging learning environment that emphasises inclusiveness and an ‘I can attitude’. I’m excited to be able to encourage and motivate students to develop the necessary skills that provide a lifelong love for sport and physical activity.
Building relationships is important to me and making connections with my students through their interests and celebrating their strengths is what I love most about teaching. I feel very privileged to be a foundation member at Holy Cross and look forward to working in partnership with staff, parents and the community to help engage our students in a healthy and active lifestyle.
I live locally with my husband and three beautiful children, Sienna (14), Mason (11) and Riccardo (8). My family and I love spending time together at our beach house, going for walks, seeking adventure, going to sporting events (go Pies) and dining out with family and friends. I also love getting outdoors and being active, whether that’s going for a hike, playing sport or training at the gym. I was recently part of my local women’s cricket team and love to get involved in my children’s sporting activities.
I aim to engage and motivate students by being a positive role model and progressive educator.
I look forward to meeting the school community shortly.
